Commission: A Leaving Portrait for Jane
"I am totally knocked out by the picture. The details and information that the girls gave you is spot on for my best memories of the past few years and that you managed to combine them into such a satisfying and funny picture is brilliant.
I keep on going back to it and remembering things that happened and the friends I was with.....with a daft smile on my face. It makes me happy! Thank you so much." Jane

My first children's book: The Small Five
You've probably heard of Africa's 'Big Five': the lion, buffalo, rhino and elephant. But did you know there are five little animals who share their names, and can fit into the palm of your hand? See what happens when the 'Small Five' go up against their big cousins - in a battle of wit, wills, and some extraordinary skills! A little rhyme with a big heart.

Around the World by Blogger Alex Kam
Around the World - Africa - Harriet Stanes
Our next seller is also located in Kenya as well!
Although an English born, there is still something very African to Harriet Stanes's illustrations, most probably due to it's subjects, haha. I have to admit, some of the scenes in his(her) paintings I sometimes also see in Malaysia too, especially in the more rural areas like where my grandparents live. The lively, comedic and simplistic style of Harriet's paintings is something that you can easily fall in love with. I mean, how can you not smile while looking at his(her) illustrations? (and the subjects)
