Spell Book

Working with the Harry Potter theme currently buzzing around our household,

I made this crocodile skin Spell Book for my daughter's birthday. 

Using a coptic stitch binding and a fake leather cover.

A fun set of birth announcements now complete, for three girls with family ties to Kenya. 

"Thanks Harriet...I was delighted to see the end result: thank you so very much.  We will now frame it and hang it above the other two:  you have no idea how much it means to us and particularly to me, 3rd child of 3 who rarely got what my brothers had received.  So, the drawing closes a big equity gap, yey! Coinciding with last nights hugely successful Kenyan launch on Citizen TV of the award winning film 'The Elephant Queen', I can now proudly shout out: the accompanying 28 books, written by Millie Ball, illustrated by me and coloured by Sophie Walbeoffe, are now available for free, as e-books! (Kenya only for now).

'The Elephant Queen' books : Apple launch

Hugely excited this morning to find out that Apple Books have today launched their 5 books from #theelephantqueen children's book series! 

Two years work is now starting to become a reality.  First to be presented is mischievous Wewe.  

Written by #MarkDeeble, illustrated by me with #SophieWalbeoffe as colourist. 

They can be downloaded for FREE on Apple Books.
